Paper is the beginning of all my art. Paper makes all things in my art studio become useful like a gardener's tools provide for his growing. For me one loose piece of paper or even one speck of a printed image is a compelling invitation to engage with an idea, an opportunity to plant an art seed, the essence of this visual dialog i am developing with myself and others. Specifically,working with paper, pigment and adhering modalities, my ideas become communications, plans become structures. My structures become containers for more ideas, more paper and grandeur or functional structures.

I am Proprietor of 1/2 STREET STUDIO indie artisan cottage industry, My product brand ARTicles by Teresa includes an eclectic blend of hand dyed tags and altered upcycled objects designed for journal foundations and embellishment. I also am collaborative partner with EDM Designs in the creation of Steampunk Textile Wearable Art Cuffs.
